First I want to apologise on behalf of Ulric Fireblade and myself for the sudden disappearance of the site. The domain name has expired but we were given no warning in advance that this would happen. We have no means to retrieve the information on site without Gulliver and currently all attempts to contact him have failed.
Despite this we do intend to try and either restore or rebuild the site. (We are going to give Gulliver some time to show himself first because it would make everything an awful lot easier...)
For the moment we are simply trying to get contact info for as many old members as possible who might be interested in posting once again after all this gets cleared up. So if you were posting on the site, or have posted in the past and would like to again, please note me here.
I know the site was slowly falling apart as it was, but one way or another we are going to build back from this now.

Here, in the dark and creaking corners of DA, something amazing is afoot. As the rain lashes the castle's windows and the thunders shakes its rocky foundations that loom precariously out over the ravine, Igor stands ready next to the big lever marked "DO NOT PULL", proud and... hunched as only Igor can stand. Strange liquids bubble through a strangle of tubes and unearthly energies sizzle and hiss nefariously across conduits. All the while a dark figure lies prone on a crude wooden table, covered in a torn cloth the color of ash.
The lever is pulled! A flash!
Lightning strikes the skeletal array of rods mounted atop the castle's highest tower, instantly setting it alight with nature's most elusive power. Blue fire bounce off the walls as it shoots down into the scientific chaos that is the laboratory. It is as if heathen gods, drawn kicking and screaming from whichever chasm they reside, are held prison in these arcane machines. The draped figures spasms and writhes underneath its shroud, while the lightning burns new holes in the heavy fabric. Machinery overloads and spits out a rain of sparks, a hellish mirroring of the cold rain raging outside. One final boom reverberates through the laboratory as the conduits give way and crash down from the vaulted stone ceiling.
Silence is all that is left.
A soft thump. Another! Then a lower bump starts to follow directly after each. Ba-bump, ba-bump, ba-bump. Such a delicate sound, gruesome and yet so hauntingly familiar. Gently, a rise and fall as air is sucked in and exhaled again. An arm is raised! The silent form tries to stand up, still awkward with the new and bizarre sensations that are flooding the newly awakend mind The cloth slides off, discarded, revealing to the world what had been achieved in this pandemonium of nights...
She lives! SHE LIVES!!!
